World Wild Drones was an art-activism project using drone technology to bring endangered species back to urban environments.

The Concept

Custom-designed skins transformed commercial drones into flying representations of endangered animals. Flying them through cities sparked conversations about wildlife conservation.

What We Learned

Art projects with technology require different success metrics. The awareness generated and conversations sparked were valuable, even without commercial viability.
